H. Xavier Carrera was born in Quito, Ecuador. After Graduating High School he moved to South Florida where he attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing in 2006. He then moved to Orlando, where he attended Barry University School of Law. While attending Barry University, Xavier was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board. He competed in national appellate oral advocacy competitions representing Barry University. He served as Vice Justice of the Moot Court Honors Board during his last year of law school.
Upon graduating law school in 2010, and being admitted to the Florida bar, Xavier began work as an immigration attorney for a private law firm in Lake Mary, Florida. In January of 2011 Xavier joined a state wide firm based out of South Florida and worked at their Orlando office where he represented clients in the areas of Mortgage Foreclosure Defense, Immigration law, Family Law, and Civil Litigation. Xavier joined The Nation Law Firm in November of 2015 where his primary responsibility is representing homeowners with their property related insurance claims.
Xavier is fluent in Spanish and French.
